GARBO's Community Bulletin Board
In its continuing effort to foster better community relations, GARBO has established this Community Bulletin Board. Please contact GARBO at garbosocialclub@hotmail.com with your Montgomery or Frederick County, MD church or other social events. We want to minimize local organization date conflicts so that all of us can benefit from each other's special church and social events (programs, dances, fundraisers, etc). All entries must be conveyed electronically via e-mail (garbosocialclub@hotmail.com). Please, no advertisements, requests for donations, or other open-ended solicitations. We reserve the right to deny or remove your entry after approximately two weeks unless your announcement carries a specific date. Thanks to all and take advantage of the service. -

Do
you know a student who is interested in history? Check out National
History Day (www.NHD.org), a year-long
opportunity with focused research on history, interpretation, and
creative expression for 6th – 12th grade students. By participating
in NHD students become writers, filmmakers, web-designers, playwrights,
or artists as they create their own understanding and expression
of history. Contests are at the county and state levels with the
annual national competition in June. |
